<p>How important are high school grades for postgraduate study?</p>
<p>By postgraduate, are you talking about masters and doctorate programs? Or certificate programs? Or going back for a second bachelors? </p>
<p>For masters and PhD programs they will not want your high school transcripts at all, so it does not matter if you had a 4.0 or a 2.0 GPA. If you’re transferring to a school for a second bachelor’s, they may ask for them, but I don’t think they’ll really care how you did in high school. It’s just formality since they require them of all transfer students. I would think post-bac certificate programs run along the lines of masters and PhD programs, not requiring high school transcripts, but I may be wrong.</p>
