High Score in SAT Bio using High School text

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>This is my first post so I hope I get it right.</p>

<p>My son will be taking Bio next year and I want him to take the SAT exam at completion.
Is it possible to score well on the exam after using a high school text? It seems as if kids that score really well have used an AP text and/or have been in an AP class.</p>

<p>What do you say?</p>

<p>This question was also just posted on WTM, so if you are a homeschooler, it would be to your advantage to go with a Pre-AP text such as Concepts and Connections.
The P-Hall general text is just not detailed enough IMHO.</p>
