Highest asian population

In order which Texas universities has the highest percentage of asians? I’m just wondering because it would be more comfortable for me to be in a school with more asians lol

Bump~

  1. University of Houston
  2. UT Dallas and UT Austin

Both of those schools for sure have a considerable asian population. But when choosing a university, try not to look at only that.

UT Dallas, University of Houston and UT Austin

These numbers can be found under the student section of each college on collegedata.com

Definitely UH main campus has more asians. As for Houston is number one for their Asian population, Hispanics, Indians (Asians), then Whites and Blacks.

I would certainly agree that UofH, UT and UTD has the largest number of asians in the student body. Understand that a large percentage of them are in engineering or the sciences. I think you would feel comfortable at any of these universities.

University of Houston no doubt. The city of Houston over all has the highest Asian population than any other Texas city or town

My husband is Asian (Indian) and he chose a university that didn’t have a large Asian population at the time because he thought that part of the college experience was venturing out of his comfort zone. He ended up being glad he made that decision. He felt that forcing himself to do that made him more confident and more comfortable working with people from all sorts of backgrounds. He’s now a successful engineer who co-owns 2 businesses.
