Highest level math class your school offers?

My school offers AP Calc AB as the highest level math class :frowning: I’m gonna run out of math to take.

mine too…and the people who take it act like their God’s gift to the world in terms of mathematics…If only they knew…

Same, only AP Calc AB.

Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations

Multivariable Calc

ap statistics

AP Calc AB, then AP Stats, though I personally consider calc harder than stats.

AP Calc BC

bc, and ap stats

cant you take a math class at a nearby college or school that happens to have something more advanced.

I go to an art based school so when kids finish calc ab and bc then stats they get to chooses if they would like to spend mornings at the nearby college(sometimes columbia or nyu, mostly city colleges)why dont you try that? why not? the only problem with this is it creates schedual conflicts, sometimes they have to work around it by dropping other classes, or going to the optional night school(summer school at night) to fill requirements.

Differential Equation/Matrix Theory (semester each)

calc ab without the ap in front of the name

AP Calc AB, AP Stats, Discrete Math

I’ll run out by the end of Junior year, unless I take Discrete after Calc AB.

Multivariable Calculus. About 10 kids take it per year out of a typical class of 425.

calc bc, ap stat (which is easier IMO)

Yale’s highest math. I bet it is impossible to get that high in high school though.

Multivariable Calc + Linear Algebra

IB Higher level

dank, i know this kid in 8th grade who is 5 years ahead of his grade level, and he’s moving through calc pretty fast. i don’t know how high he’ll get by graduation, but he’s basically a genius…

bc and stats
