AP Calc DE

regular calc… but theres usually only 4 or 5 kids in the class bc most drop out.

diffy q…

AP Calc AB. Once in a while a kid takes BC on his/her own.

My friend almost convinced me to self-study Calc BC with him this past year (his junior year, my senior), but in the end neither of us decided we had the time or energy to tackle the project. And if he had taken BC, he would’ve been left with very little in the way of math for his senior year. We don’t live close enough to a community college or anything to take post-AP calculus, and I highly doubt that the school or any of the teachers have the resources or know-how to teach such advanced math. And there’s no AP Stats next year, since the only teacher who knows how to teach it got pregnant and will have to take maternity leave halfway through the school year.

after multivariable calc, they’re given choices in college classes – linear algebra, theoretical geometry, etc.

AP Calc AB. :(

Our highest math class is AP Calculus BC. Our school allows students to get HS credit through the local CC, so we can take math classes there as a senior.

AP Calc BC or Stats

The highest my school (small private) officially offers on the course sign-up sheets is AP Calculus BC; however, if you’re more advanced than that, they’ll offer special classes in multivariable calulus and linear algebra.

MultiVariable Calculus, then Independent Study :(

Sucks that I came to US at the end of 6th Grade (6th Grade teacher signed me up for Algebra in 7th)

AP Calc BC, AP Prob & Stat

My school got its first calculus class this year, and it’s called “Calculus.” Up until then, it was just “Advanced Math,” which I think is pre-calc and trigonometry.

IB Math HL
Calculus 12

I have no experience with either, so I haven’t the slightest clue which is at a higher level…

Calculus (AB)

Calc BC and AP Stats. However, my school is really strict about who gets to take Calc BC, so I was forced to self study it this year (i got an A- in PreCalc…)

I am a senior next year, and I am going to college to take Multivariable/DiffEq.

Consider yourselves lucky. The highest Mathematics class my school offers is Math 31 (Calculus).

statistics

IB Math HL

We have five math classes. Last one’s calc. :-/

ap calc bc… thats where i’ll be… and the people way beyond… happens once in like 3-4 years… they go to local college to take higher course
