I love black jelly beans but I like most flavors so I would not want an entire bag of only black ones. I also like the “spiced” jelly beans tho my kids always wanted the fruity ones like starburst or jolly rancher.
Blech.
Love them!!!
I love the black licorice jelly beans! Or really any black licorice. On our family trip to Iceland last summer, we found all kinds licorice products in the stores, including black licorice ice cream. It’s very popular there.
Black jelly beans are my favorite. I also love Good and Plenty and black licorice. Most of my family members, both biologically-related and adopted, hate all of them.
They are my favorite and I’ll take all of them the rest of you don’t want.
I would eat cilantro jellybeans over black ANYDAY.
A big no for me.
I like them OK. They aren’t my favorite. H loathes them. Thus, he “saves” all black jelly beans in a bag for me. uh thanks. Lately though, the Brach’s classic jelly bean bags - the only kind we will buy - haven’t had any black ones? We both appreciate that!
My H went out this afternoon to do some errands. I half jokingly told him that if he happened to stop by Dollar Tree, to please get a box of Good n Plenty if they have them. They had them and he got them for me! He also got Raisinets, another favorite!
Love black licorice. Even like the salty stuff from Europe. Apparently Scandinavians eat the most licorice of all. We went to a licorice shop in Stockholm where there were so many different types (I still remember the name, “Rotten” or perhaps something like that). THeir rversion of good n plenties (multicolored) were SO GOOD.
I don’t know. I haven’t had jelly beans since I was a child. When I was a child I did not like black jelly beans, but my tastes may have changed since then.
I guess this an Easter themed thread? To celebrate the resurrection of Christ, you are supposed eat jelly beans? I’ve never done that as an adult. However, I do buy candy for Halloween and eat portions that are left over. I still have not finished the candy from last Halloween. The Halloween candy I prefer tends to be the type that includes chocolate and peanuts, rather than just flavored sugar (jelly beans). An example is Reeses Peanutbutter Cups. I also enjoy and regularly buy ice cream, again avoiding the flavors/brands that taste like flavored sugar.
Yes, lots of licorice in Scandinavia. I am 1/4 Swedish so maybe that’s why I’ve always liked black licorice!
Yes, yes, yes! H always buys me a bag of black jelly beans for Easter (he can’t stand them).
I don’t like any jelly beans! I like chocolate, not gummy/chewy candy of any flavor.
If they aren’t chocolate, they aren’t candy.
Huge no from me.
I love black licorice. I don’t love jelly beans nor do I dislike them. If I’m having jelly beans I like jelly belly brand. I like chocolate and I am
A hard no on gummy and sour candy.
I love both as well, chocolate covered raisins are so good, I tell myself I’m eating fruit…
Yes!
When I was a young kid I would often order the black licorice ice cream when taken out. Not only was it delicious—it turned my tongue black!
I love raisinettes, too!
