I absolutely ADORE them and scoop up the bags that are ALL black jelly beans! Ds loves them, too, but dh can’t stand them. I wonder - Is anise/licorice as divisive as cilantro??

Black licorice is the most vile candy… even the thought of a box of Good 'n Plenty’s is enough to turn my stomach. Starburst is the only kind of jelly beans I buy - they have the best flavor and I don’t have to pick around the black ones!

I love Good n Plenty! When my older son was in Norway, he brought me back some black licorice (Lakrids). Very good. Made in Denmark but popular in Scandinavia in general.

Starburst jelly beans are the only ones I like for the general jelly bean population. But I also do like black jelly beans. And Good and Plenty, although I don’t think I’ve had any in years. It was one of my childhood favorite candies.

Currently making my way through a jelly belly large bag of black jelly beans, H has been asking me why we haven’t been eating them all month. Good n plenty - yes please! I’ve also gone through a bag of chocolate Cadbury eggs (and the last advent calendar Lindt chocolate).

@surfcity I love anise pizzelles. Licorice, anise, fennel do seem like things some people love and some just don’t!
