Hiking the Appalachian Trail

<p>I probably won’t do it this year or next year, but one of these years I’m thinking that after final exams, when I return home to Maine from Virginia I should hike all the way back up. </p>

<p>My only concern is that some people take four months. If I hike really briskly, can I make it back in two?</p>

<p>How many miles do you plan to hike, and where do you plan on starting and ending? I’m assuming you don’t plan on doing the entire 2k miles, since that takes like 6 - 7 months to complete.</p>
