<p>Is this something worth pursuing to write on a future resume? I want to know if the hassle is worth it, because taking this position would involve me leaving my full-time summer job early. </p>

<p>Only worth it if you want to apply to become an RA. Other than that, it might be somewhat worthwhile for other positions, depending on what you want to do. It’s a fine resume filler, but not something worth keeping long term. It is not worth becoming unemployed unless you desperately need it for resume padding–but if you have a job without it, you will be fine without it in the future.</p>
