History Channel's ALONE - Season 6 (the Arctic)

Premise: “Scattered around Canada’s Great Slave Lake—the deepest lake in North America–season 6’s survivalists will endure incredibly cold conditions and a whole slew of new dangerous wild life, like a thriving bear population, territorial moose, packs of wolves, muskox and the stealthy porcupine. No camera crew. No gimmicks.”

A family friend told us about this series a few years ago and we’ve been watching since season 4. Any other viewers out there? Any thoughts on who will be the last person standing?

I like this show too. Interesting to see different approaches to surviving in challenging environments and having the participants film themselves during the whole time (no film crews) gives the whole thing a unique twist. Right now I’m betting on Barry or Nikki to last the longest - but we haven’t seen much yet, and the cold hasn’t really set in.

I think the isolation would do me in before the lack of food - unless I got sick or hurt.
