<p>I applied as a Philosophy major & if I get in how hard would it be to switch it to a History major?</p>
<p>Kind of off topic but who do you guys think has a better His. Dept? Cal or UCLA?</p>

<p>In reality you applied to L&S and if you are accepted and enroll you will have no major. Not until you finish the reprequisites for a major and apply to the department for that major. </p>
<p>This does not apply to the college of engineering, etc.</p>
