history options

I am majoring in history at Emory. I have a very high GPA and I plan on applying to many positions in the finance sector. I plan to apply to top-end consulting firms such as Baine, prestigious investment like Goldman Sachs, and even positions at large corporations including Delta. How are my chances in acquiring one of the coveted positions in consulting, Ibanking, etc. with a major in history as opposed to one from Gouizeta?

I don’t actually have an answer to your question, but make sure you take Roark’s History of the Old South class.

Phenomenal.

From what I understand, Goizueta helps a lot in terms of networking stuff.
Also, I don’t think Emory is necessarily a target school for the places you mentioned (but A LOT of nice places do recruit here).
So I feel like maybe Goizueta would be better… However, if you have a “very high GPA”, it might be better to stay with what’s working (but put in a lot of effort in networking). You’ll need to intern and to show you understand at least basic economics and stuff I’m guessing.
