I’m a third year computer science major and I need to take an arts credit as part of my degree. I’ve always been fascinated with history; I read any book I can get my hands on. And despite being in CS, I can write a killer essay.

That said, I’m not really sure what to expect as I haven’t taken any artsy courses in university yet. What am I looking at if I take a second year history course (Russian history specifically) in terms of reading, essays/assignments, exams, and lectures? Anything I should be aware of or any tips from history majors? Thanks in advance!
