@ahtesham: Congrats budd! Did you get a firm offer or a conditional one? Because I think they’ve released only firm offers yet, not the conditional ones.

@hkusthku Hey! its a firm offer ;)

I got a conditional offer from HKU for engineering and my scholarship application is still under consideration, but their requirements are harder to acomplish that those from HKUST, so I think I’ll go to HKUST. Besides, I have already accepted their offer :D

Has anybody else received an offer from HKUST and is planning on going there?

@ahtesham oh ok then i’ll ask them through email. Whats the email address of hku’s international admissions?

@willa96 international@hku.hk

those who are accepted, what are your stats?
just can’t figure out the stats eligible for hku :/

hey, I am new here. I am a Singapore A Level student. My predicted results were quite good and I was among top 20 students in my cohort according to my prelim grades.
I applied for HKU’s BJ (fast track). Had my interview with them on 6 Dec. I think it was fine and I had a nice chat with my interviewer.
Btw I also received an email from them 10 days ago. They said they are considering my application, but they just want to confirm my English-language ability such that I will satisfy all admission requirements.
After I replied them, They replied me back with “We hope to have more information for you shortly.” Hopefully this means good news.

However, BJ seems to have few applicants since there are only 30 intakes/year. So I could only wait. Congratz to all who had got their offer. I hope to get mine soon!!!

@elisexia hey! don’t worry you will get one ;)

@ahtesham, thanks. Hope we all are able to get our offers really soon!

exactly! Has anyone recieved scholarhsip response from HKU.

Does hkust review business applicants first, then the engineering ones?

hi, anyone who applied for HKU or HKUST based on Australian academic system? what is competitive ATAR rage? or anyone who has gotten final offer? In advance, thanks a lot!!

@Tnadnepkrad, HKUST reviews admissions on a rolling basis, as they have mentioned. What program did u apply for, and when did u submit ur application? Those that have received offers r d ones dat submitted their app circa Oct. 5. Those that submitted in November have hardly gotten any response, and those that applied in December really need to be patient. I am also waiting 4 a response, and sometimes I feel worried about whether its coming or not. Lets just relax, and chill for a while. Best of Luck

@ababio i’m applying for science on 13th november. But I have a friend applying business on 14th november and have already got her result

@tnadnepkrad let wait and hope for the best.we all are in the same condition as yours…

this is what they said for people who didnt got offer yet:

If you have not received an offer under fast-track, your application will continue to be reviewed in the main round. The University will start issuing main round offers from round February, and you will be able to check your application status by accessing your application account.
lol

so people you might have to wait till february or more maybe.

@hkuadmission, was that statement made by HKU or HKUST?

Is HKU giving out offers alr? I tot they mention in their website as mid-Jan?
