HMM... should i take the SAT?

hi, i’m a rising senior with a 33 on the ACT
I have taken 3 acts and have gotten 33’s on each of them… wth…
anyway, i have not touched SAT prep books, but I scored like 210 on PSAT…
I’m not a very strong writer (i hate timed essays so much. i do fine in school)
Should I even consider taking the SAT? I know collegeboard (dam u!) sends all SAT scores to colleges, but if i get anything below 2100, would that look bad? any advice will help. thx

Well, a 33 puts you in the 99th percentile, 2200-2270 on the SAT represents the 99th percentile. If you don’t have to send any SAT2 scores, I’d take it, because you don’t have to send the scores if you don’t want to. Even then, I think colleges would look mainly at your 33 if you sent both.

Just make sure any schools your applying to do not want the ACT with writing, alot of them require the ACT with writing to completely replace the SAT I.

you might need SATII’s for some of your schools. the ACT 33 is fine though.
