<p>Would helping your grandma take care of your mentally challenged aunt be a EC? And if so would it be a unique one?</p>
<p>It would make a great essay topic, but I don’t know if it would count as an EC. If it’s something you do regularly, it might.</p>

<p>that’s not an EC. that’s a hook on character and circumstance. i don’t think you’d want to try to squeeze extra credit out of that.</p>

<p>It depends…if the EC section also asks for work/volunteer experience, I think I’d include it. I agree, though, that it’s a perfect essay topic.</p>
