I have a couple of questions/concerns! Thanks in advance to those who take the time to help a girl out.

By the way, this is part of my application-freak-out mode. If you’d like to see my other freakout/chances post…

The 150-word extracurricular short answer.
I’m really having a problem with this one, because I haven’t dedicated myself to just one activity. I’ve done band for a while, marching band for one year, piano for 11 years (but quit after 10th grade, still play for recreation, though), varsity tennis (but I’m not extraordinarily good at tennis), and I volunteer (sometimes).
OK, you see my problem now, right? I have this array of well-roundedness about me, but I’m not OUTSTANDING at just one of them.
So now, I need help. What do I do? I was thinking about writing about piano, to prove that I’ve broken free out of the whole instant gratification mindset of society. Plus, I really did enjoy it (and still do). The problem is, so many people play piano, that just my enjoying it seems pathetic.

UC/CommonApp interusage.
For my UC essay, responding to prompt #1 about how your community (family, friends, environment) has affected you, I wrote about my mother. I was thinking about just using the same essay for the CommonApp asking for a significant person that has impacted you. Would that be alright? I know the answer is probably blatant, but I’m freaked out.

“Why do you want to come here?” Essays.
UGH. WHY DO I WANT TO GO THERE? OH, I DON’T KNOW, BECAUSE I WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE AND I LIKE YOU BETTER. Damnit! Am I supposed to be in ego-boost mode and say things like, well you have a fantastic biology program, and your professors are renowned. Your placement in the U.S. is also very preferable for me. I hate these, especially because I haven’t visited any colleges yet, so I really don’t know what being on the campus feels like.

Haha, so, anyone who wants to take on the challenge of answering these for me, I greatly appreciate it.
