I told you I was ‘stealing’ this recipe, didn’t I? In preparation, I just made the fig jam, with a box of dried figs that was in my Too Good to Go bag from Eataly this week!
PS-I am going to toast the pecans in a spicy salty sugarglaze; I think that will add another layer of ‘yum’!
Homemade fig jam will be delicious! I like the idea of the spicy salty sugar glaze, too!
Anyone looking for a very simple festive appetizer, this one couldn’t be easier. We’re heading to a neighbor’s cocktail party tonight, and I’m bringing this charcuterie wreath. No recipe, just follow the picture and improvise with what you like:
Wow—that’s a lovely and very tempting wreath! Great job!
My mouth is watering….
That is MAGNIFICENT in every way!!!
So simple: A log of goat cheese with chutney on top. If you feel like a little work toast some almonds or pine nuts and sprinkle on top. This is a hit every time.
My D and I keep this as a family secret. Cool whip almost defrosted, fold a raspberry yogurt in and serve with fresh strawberries as a dip. Children adore this. Cheap yogurt works best. I have not tried greek–always have used regular. I have been making this since the 80’s. Pretty pink color.
