I will speak as myself, a husband. I would prefer if my wife didn’t want a particular gift that it get sent back. It would not hurt my feelings or cause me any pain. I would appreciate that she could get something else she preferred. Just my thoughts.

I shopped with my bf, so we each got things we liked.
My DIL sent me lists, so I had that to work with. The hitch was lululemon, which sent two wrong orders. She went to the store and got a gift certificate, but they should have put the money back on my charge card.
Still, grandson and son are happy with their legos.

Misses this year were gifts from Etsy. Nothing arrived on time, even a digital item.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure when returning gifts, they ask if the returner wants it returned to the original payment method or wants a gift card.
I haven’t returned lately to lululemon, they are pretty good at asking how you want the payment returned. But you never know who you get at the desk.
Too bad they sent the wrong item, twice?

While the walking pad (treadmill for under a desk or alone) is a hit, User Error is playing a big part. I keep catching my feet on the sides or off the back. I could be KILLED.
But it is very convenient to just walk for 20-30 minutes, go do something else, and then add another 15 -20 minutes. Thumbs up (but keep your balance)

Thanks. That explains a lot. Their sizing is not the typical, so even though I called to give measurements, it went wrong.
I don’t know that we had any misses though I do have to send one thing that came from Amazon missing a needed piece.
Some hits:
Photo book for D1 and her husband that D2 and I made of their wedding. They have not tackled photos yet and the whole picking/making feels very overwhelming for them. They were thrilled with at least one book of their day.
Foldable wagon for D2 who lives in an apt that has an underground parking garage. And she lives on the 2nd floor. She will keep it in her car and can use it to haul all her groceries up in one fell swoop or empty her car of bags and such after traveling. It was a STEAL at like $33 and seems really sturdy! Highly recommend for anyone in a similar situation.

My H got me a foldable wagon for the farmers market that I requested though I didn’t request a specific one. It is very heavy and I’m trying to decide if I should ask him to return it. I usually go by myself and will have to heave it in and out of the car myself.
Few years ago my brother in law got my sister a jacket with many, many pockets. There was a pocket for keys, iPhone, wallet, iPad mini….my sister said it was the ugliest thing she had ever seen. My brother in law said she wanted a jacket with lots of pockets and he spent a lot of time look8ng for it. We all got a good laugh out of it.

D1 just got this for my mom for grocery shopping. The wheels are very sturdy and they turn. The bag is easy to pull, and it’s foldable.

My Sis and her H have been here a week and a half. The rest of the family didn’t come til the day after Christmas and we celebrated our whole family Christmas yesterday.
We went shopping in Ann Arbor last Monday and one of my gifts to my Sis and her H was to pick out anything they wanted to try at Zingerman’s deli. We had an amazing spread for dinner on Christmas day. It was a big hit as a gift!
