<p>I just saw that from may until August there are holidays in universities on the US, if a student lives on campus does he need to leave the university in May or can he stay in the university living on campus continuing to pay the rent from May to August?</p>
<p>Usually, yes, you can continue to live on campus from May-August, but there’s no reason to do so really in most cases. Subleasing an apartment in a college town will be MUCH cheaper than normal rents from May-August, and unless you’re taking summer classes (how widely available these are varies drastically between different schools) there’s no reason for you to stay on campus. In most cases a plane ticket home and back would be cheaper than staying on campus for 4 more months. </p>
