Wow, 50 years ago I was moving to Old Town in Chicago, just down the street from Second City where so many SNL stars got their start. Also down the street from the original Crate & Barrel store with, yes, items displayed on crates and barrels. We used to buy wedding presents there for friends, and always something nice for ourselves.
