<p>nope, it’s two for almost every college. if you’re applying to harvard, they require three. and also, you probably don’t want to take the SAT twice in one year anyway… colleges will assume that you didn’t take it seriously the first time, and that you were counting on being able to take it again. plus, there’s no real point. your score won’t increase significantly in one month.</p>
<p>i totally disagree with you smiley face… i don’t think colleges really care about how many times you took the SAT… a lot of people sign up for two months in a row by default just because they assume their second score will be better after “getting to know” the test</p>
<p>hopefulCEO, that said, it is a bit ridiculous to plan to REtake it TWO more times (in a row). just… study and be satisfied with your first score. I’d get that subject test out of the way first though, just in case something weird happens and you don’t make the november date.</p>
