A college ride bus overturned tonight near Richmond. There’s not much in the news yet but it appears most injuries are minor. It seems like a weird route to take to Charlottesville.

It says in the story that one was injured critically. The driver has been charged. My Ds never travelled by bus when they were in college and I was happy that they had other options.
The bus turned over and a car came along and hit it. I think the seriously injured person is the driver of the car but I’m not sure. The injuries seem to be a lot of broken bones and concussions. The bus company has a good record but the driver has been charged with reckless driving.
I admit I’m freaked out because we know students who use this service and I think my son would probably use it next year if he attends a school that won’t allow him to bring a vehicle.
