<p>In the usual love/hate relationship with Bonds, the local sports press was giving him a hard time today for not representing his home park. I understand the strain and age issue, but I would’ve loved to see him take one round. So it goes. </p>

<p>Fun time, indeed. Hey, at least no one drowned. If they are back there again they are going to need the coast guard! Knuckleheads in kayaks abound.</p>
<p>We were thinking how much fun the kayaking would be, but I would’ve avoided that big crowd; I don’t need a souvenir that bad! Anyway, I don’t think our van would have been able to make the crosscountry trek to get the boats to SF. I would love to go out there and do that sometime, though.</p>
<p>Do we need another thread predicting how badly the AL stars will beat the NL stars tonite? (I leave it for Sax our leader…)</p>
