Homerun Derby Call Out

Okay, I’m calling for a Ryan Howard repeat of last years over the top home run derby blastathon. Not only will he win, and win big, he will become the home run hitting maniac he was last year regardless of his lousy first half.
(don’t care about the game…I just love this part :))

no Griff?
bah

I wish Griffey was in the Derby this year. I’m gonna say Fielder or Morneau take the crown, although as a Cards fan I’d love to see Pujols win.

I vote Fielder.

After seeing what happened last year, I’m just glad my boy D. Wright is opting out, saving his fans from tying him down and making him skip it!

My ds says Ryan Howard.
I can talk college hoops all day, but am very unversed in MLB players!

Don’t know college hoops at all, but I can talk MLB all day; am somewhat obsessed by it!

A home run derby without A-Rod is like the L A Olympics without the Russians - doesn’t mean all that much.

agreed fundingfather…but it doesn’t mean that much anyway :)

but I still love to watch!

Well, since he hasn’t been in it since 2002, where he hit, um, 2 homers (same as he did the year before), I assume you’re being facetious. In fact, A-rod’s HRD record is not at all impressive.

Edit: here’s the stats:

Pujols all the way…that swing is just silky smooth

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/hrtracker

A-Rod woulda been a nice addition
Fielder has me worried though…

Oh, no doubt A-Rod’s having a monster year; he’s just never been Mr. Home Run Derby.

My fanatic S#3 says that Howard will repeat. We’ll see…

BOO he chocked.

Go Pujols! :)

Oh Rats!!!,rats And Double Rats!!!

vlad is god

^^yep brainsprain. Vlad 502’. He and Rios are putting on a show. I’m a major Giants fan…heartbreaking as that is…but our ballpark is beautiful. On to Pujols now.

ahhh…pujols, bummer. its probably a good thing though–his body needs a break

And on the seventh day, he rested
Good night everybody!
