Hello. I am currently a homeschooled junior, and am searching for a four year university to attend. I am ultimately interested in attending Law school, and I would prefer a private college. I am befuddled by the process of finding a good school, and would love some help. Thanx.

OK, let’s start with some basics. Tell us about yourself? Are you looking for a small liberal arts college (LAC) or a larger university? Do you prefer urban, suburban, rural? Geographic preference? How rigorous has your homeschooling curriculum been, and do you have evidence to back it up? Have you taken the SAT or ACT, and if so, what are your scores like? Non-academic interests and activities?

Yes, tell us a bit more about yourself.

A good place to start might be to visit the princeton review’s website and use their college search. You take a survey about what you want and it gives you a good initial list.

I’m homeschooled as well, and had great success with my college admissions (only rejected by one of my 11 regular decision schools, accepted by schools like Columbia, Duke, Pomona, Harvard waitlist etc) so if you need any help just send me a private message and I’d be happy to guide you through the process :)
