<p>I’m a freshman at the University of Wisconsin. I realized after 2 weeks on campus that it was not right for me: classes are too large, social life consists only of drinking/partying, & too far away from my family. After talking to my parents, we decided I’d transfer after the Fall semester.</p>
<p>Here’s where my problem begins.</p>
<p>My father has gotten a new job, one that will see he & my mom moving 12+ hours away from our hometown (Kansas City) before the end of 2013 if not before the summer. However, they won’t know where they’re moving until December.</p>
<p>The problem I face gives me three options:</p>
<ol>
<li><p>Transfer to the University of Tulsa, where I’ve been excepted, is 4 hours away from KC, has smaller classes but has no M&D?</p></li>
<li><p>Attend community college in KC until M&D know where they’re moving and then find a university close to them?</p></li>
<li><p>Take a semester off, work in KC until M&D move, and then find a university nearby?</p></li>
</ol>
<p>Staying in Wisconsin is not an option. I am far too homesick & overwhelmed by the lack of academic support to stay even another semester.</p>
<p>Any guidance would be welcome. I’m in way over my head.</p>
