Many parents are concerned about safety at colleges. City stats would be more meaningful of course but this gives a rough idea of the variations around North America.

Crime is local. By state is not local enough to be valid.
NH has permitless constitutional carry for handguns.
Looking at many of the other states that have the same, I’m not sure that’s the main factor determining New Hampshire’s relative degree of safety.
I never said it was a factor contributing to safety, I’m actually pointing out the opposite. In spite of permitless carry, NH is very safe. That runs counter to what we’re led to believe.
