Ummmm, you have no idea where my obese statement came from. It was a joke about a previous thread I started.

What do you think insert mean joke here means?

you choose to be gay…but then again, you take a lot of what i wrote way out of context.

yes, I did read everything. Again, I explained everything you wrote. All of that was already written before, and I explained.

as I’ve hoped you’ve figured out by now, I’m not Christian.

BS to support everything I wrote. Umm, okay, you can disregard whatever you want, it doesn’t really matter, it doesn’t change it from being true.

not surprised, you go back you the old BS rule.

Yes, because you are Mr. I know everybody’s sexual orientation.

okay

all your points were BS.

Wow, now I’m just like butterbattle, I can disprove everything in the world with 2 letters. :D

^ Apparently, with all the logic and explanations that I provided in my post, the only thing you were able to pick up were the two letters ‘BS.’

What? How the **** do you know it’s true? From the several pages I read, you haven’t proved ****. In fact, you’re so clueless that you unintentially provided much more evidence that homosexuality is related to genetics, and, even now, you don’t realize it!

By the way, near the beginning of this thread, you said that we haven’t provided any evidence that homosexuality was influenced by DNA. Well, since then, we have provided tons of evidence to support this. Go back and read.

Oh, I’m sorry. I don’t know anything. But, obviously, you understand everybody’s sexual orientation. So, now, why don’t you educate the homosexuals on this thread about homosexualtiy? Somehow, they’re all wrong. :)

“I never get a hard-on by looking at even the most good-looking women (I don’t even know for sure what the standard for good-looking women is), but only men, and this happens regardless of my will.”

How about if women are attracted to you? Things always go two ways. I am not attracted to people that are not attracted by me. Do you think this is the reason you are attracted to gay men because they are attracted by you but women are not attracted by you?

What does this prove? It proves exactly what it says, nothing more.

Fact: African-Americans are more likely to be involved in violent crime than the average American. Fact: African-Americans are more likely to have drug and alcohol problems. Fact: African-Americans are more likely to be in jail sometime in their lifetimes.

Is this simply because they are African-American?……. NO! The majority of African-Americans don’t commit felonies, steal cars or get drunk and beat up their family.

Fact: Black is just a skin color, and, regardless of statistics, has no connection to drugs, violence, etc. All of that can be explained through – lower income (less affluent neighborhoods), less education, different culture, slavery followed by segregation, etc.

Fact: In the same way, homosexuality is just an attraction to the same sex, and, regardless of statistics, has no connection to drugs, violence, etc. Their statistics can be explained in many of the same ways.

The only differences are
that being “black” is no longer a bad thing, while homosexuality, according to people like Sheed30, destroys society.
that, homosexuality, also according to people like Sheed30, can and must be ‘fixed.’

Behaviors…hahaha. That just means having sex.
not find a cure. True, they haven’t found a cure yet.
not funding education. True again.
causing low self-esteem. You’re going to hell. You’re unnatural. You’re an abomination. You’re destroying society. You’re actions are unacceptable.

The idiots who wrote this seem to believe that ‘curing homosexuality’ will do more to end AIDS than trying to find a cure for AIDS itself.

I’m confused. Apparently, two people of the same gender having sex is a cesspool of diseases. Somehow, this unique composition of genders simply proliferates AIDS and STDs. What is the science behind that?

Do more homosexuals today have AIDS than heterosexuals? When two people have sex, is it more likely for AIDS to pass from one partner to the other if they are homosexual?

Well, I’m glad that all the homosexuals on this thread and all the homosexuals that they know are (luckily) not part of this 40%. I wonder how they got that number?

What? Oh, really? Because the homosexuals wanted to get AIDS.

Better not let African-Americans adopt kids anymore.

Huh? So……you’re admitting that homosexuality is natural?

We don’t think homos are animals. We think humans are animals.

I’m pretty sure that penguins don’t choose to be gay, so I think that’s evidence that genetics are the cause of homosexuality in most cases.

i definitely don’t think people choose to be gay just like people do not choose to be straight. society influences us, if we came out of the womb and there was no societal/cultural pressure to conform to heterosexual lifestyles, we most likely wouldn’t have a problem with men and men and women and women. looking at the biological aspect of it, a species needs to reproduce to survive, so heterosexuality is considered the “norm.” any laws of any society is so that it can survive. so using the Bible as a basis (especially the old testament) for anti-homosexuality can be misleading–just like laws against incest and bestiality (though still widely considered scatalogical, laws against same-sex relations were created so that more children could be produced by what is considered a “normal” marriage/union. if you think about it, having a society where anyone can get with anyone might have proven disadvantageous in the past when life spans were shorter and infant mortality rates were higher–homosexual relations cannot produce offspring, and so why encourage it?

anyways, i think using religion to attack homosexuality is ridiculous. i think it’s totally fine for anyone to love whoever they want and this whole anti-gay marriage thing is just as bad as not allowing, say blacks or hispanics or asians or whatever to marry. it’s stupid we still discriminate against people for these kinds of things. and to say that homosexuality in a family can have a negative impact on children is absolutely preposterous.

yeah just reading butterbattle’s reponse, i have to agree.

and the whole “OMG HOMOZ HAV AIDZ!!1” is silly. AIDS is passed through sexual intercourse but also through breast milk, hypodermic needles, and blood transfusions; and it is not strictly limited to homosexuals. Heterosexuals can also get this disease. And Heterosexuality doesn’t make you any less immune to sexually transmitted diseases. Straight people get syphilis, herpes, gonorrhea, HPV, chlamydia, crabs and all those other lovely things.

If you are going to “cure” something, it has to be a disease, such as AIDS, not homosexuality. Something needs to be a disease before you can consider “curing” it.

our country needs to get its morals reworked–badly.

videos about guys who rap about sex, sex, sex and treat women like objects for sexual gratification (and women who seem to not care or even enjoy it) lie at one end of the spectrum and are considered normal and acceptable. and yet we deny loving homosexual couples the right to marry for no good reason at all?

bleh bleh bleh people please. i hope our generation is going to change this. i think we will.

Our generation? what are you talking about? It’s only one group of people that fall into this category. Those who have an affinity for rap etc. You generalize like everybody is into it.

I never said that. Stop putting things in my mouth. why are you just making things up to make me look bad?

I said it Can be fixed…when did I say must? I said it MUST be fixed? When did I say? what the hell is your problem? Stop putting words in my mouth. I never said anything even close to that at all this entire thread. Dude what the hell?

Okay, it’s official, everything you wrote that i supposedly said is fake. You put so many different words in my mouth it’s not even funny now.

Butterbattle, you need to just leave if you’re going to post a whole bunch of things i’ve never said to make me look bad.

“Do you think this is the reason you are attracted to gay men because they are attracted by you but women are not attracted by you?”

Nope. Women love me. I’ve had at least a dozen women tell me that I’m their “ideal guy” and I was unanimously voted most attractive guy by the group of 20 senior girls who live in my building.

Oh, lol, I didn’t catch this joke before because I didn’t follow sanjenferrer’s link (I was only looking at your posts).

I’d say that the rhetoric in the APA article is similar to the rhetoric in the article at the bottom of page 4. I assume that the APA has evidence to back up their infallible statements, but I just don’t see any. Saying something like “all experts agree” will convince many uninformed readers, but that doesn’t really mean much since, obviously, some experts don’t agree.

Anyways, obesity and homosexuality are not even remotely comparable. You can become fat by going to McDonalds a lot, but you’re not going to become gay by looking at naked men.

Except for the ones here?

Gasp, it looks like you might actually have something!

Note, this will be biased. But, let’s see what they have to say.

Both sides have their own agenda. I don’t know. I haven’t seen the research.

Ouch. Okay, I’ll agree that one’s completely unreliable. I wonder if there are any more studies on the hypothalamus on this topic.

Ah, interesting.
but, but, but, they’re destroying society and poisoning the minds of the next generation and committing immoral acts!!! How can you just let other people be themselves??? That’s preposterous! :)

If some people think homosexuality is natural and moral, how about if some people think they are just sexually attracted to animals and whatever they think they want to screw and then want other people to accept their sexual orientation as natural and moral? Where do you draw the line?

How about a marriage with your dog, your horse, or whatever you think you are sexually attracted to? How do you feel or what do you think when a human-animal marriage wants to be legalized and the wedding will be held in the same church or city hall as your wedding?

Yeah! I completely agree! It’s all a slippery slope, people! This whole “homosexual” debacle is a direct effect of legalizing interracial marriage! If we never would have let that abomination occur, none of this would have happened!
