<p>All I’m saying about the article is that newspapers like to actually sell their papers. They do this by writing shocking stories that will interest people. Desrcibing the trial of a girl who didn’t get into her #1 choice even though she’s in the top %1 of her class is shocking and may sell some papers. Blaming the reason she didn’t get in on her failure to take an AP calculus class is even more shocking and may sell even more papers.</p>
<p>If you reveal she only scored a 1250 on her SATs, the story’s not so shocking anymore.</p>
