Honest thoughts, what are my chances at an Ivy/Selective University?

<p>I am a female with a South Asian ethnicity going to a typical public school to give you guys some background. I REALLY want to get into either:
Brown University or
Dartmouth University</p>

<p>I’m ready to apply ED to Brown.</p>

<p>I’m also applying to:
Rice University
Tufts University
UT Austin (safety school, I’m basically already accepted because Teas has a top 7% rule)</p>

<p>So freshman year was the year I really messed up, Ivy League wise. I got 4 B’s but I guess you could say I made up for it the rest of my high school career. I’m currently a senior.</p>

  1. -Indian Classical Dance Kathak for 12 years
    -I’ve performed at notable International Conventions in Dallas, Tx, San Jose, CA, St. Louis, MO, and Chicago, IL
    -have done workshops/performed with notable Indian Classical Artists including: Disciples of Pandit Birju Maharaj, Archana Joglekar, and Nirupama Rajendra
    -I have reached Sangeet Visharad in classical dance i.e., equivalent to a Degree (Bachelor of Music) from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Institution established in 1939
    -I also teach traditional Kathak to younger girls with my dance teacher to enrich and preserve Indian culture in my community</p>

<p>How can you have a 4.0 Unweighted with four B’s?</p>

<p>it could be quarterly like in my school
so if you get 1 B and the rest of the Quarters A’s you get an A at the end of the quarter /year</p>

<p>@Sdgal2 @noogler oops 4 B’s on my report card, I just checked and only 2 show up on my transcript so 3.91 unweighted is my GPA****</p>

<p>Taking 9 AP classes by the end of Junior year is not a “typical public school,” by the way! That’s a “really great public school”!</p>
