Honest Truth, Can becoming a Physics major equal social suicide?

Honestly, what do you think of someone wanting to go for a physics (bio med option) major?

and is the Physics Building nice inside and out?

No, you’ll be fine. Don’t overthink it too much. You’ll learn to manage your time efficiently over your freshman year. You’re only scaring yourself…it’s not that bad. You’ll study hard and have plenty of time to party hard.

Not at all! Hmm. Maybe your question has a second meaning. I’ll answer that:

Please, some of my favorite people on campus belong to a chemistry fraternity, and I swear I’ve never caught any of them wearing a cape to class. Physics can’t kill you. Anyway, most of your friends will come from your dorm, clubs, or greek organization. And no matter what, similar people tend to find each other. Don’t judge people by their majors.

The physics building is kind of ugly, to be honest. But it’s surrounded by some of the most lovely buildings on campus.

the inside of the physics building isn’t bad…there are benches around the outer part which is great for last-minute hw. I know lots of physics majors (I’m a math minor), plenty of whom have active social lives. Two of them are really active on the ultimate frisbee team, which has a social life of its own.
