<p>1) No, your guaranteed housing. As to which one you get depends how many more people get a place in line after you</p>

<p>2) It’s not important but can help when your on the fence. Theres no reason as to why you shouldnt have recommendations. ask around for 'em</p>

<p>It depends a lot on your essay and the other people applying. You have a decent chance, but it depends a lot on who else is applying.</p>

<p>a lot of the people applying are those instate who use UF as a super safety school (try saying that 10 times fast) and are aiming at an ivy league or other extremely selective school…but you definately have more than a decent chance with all your stats</p>

<p>origiwillalwaysbe - Freshman are NOT guaranteed housing at UF. Many Freshman get closed out of housing and have to find alternative living situations (like private dorms, apartments…) You should apply for housing right away (if you haven’t already) and get a priority number. It is not too late yet to still get on-campus housing but if you wait two more months it may well be.</p>
