I am a current junior at a liberal arts school that isn’t an institution that participates with honor societies such as Phi Beta Kappa. However it appears that honor societies are really important networking opportunities. How would I be able to go about getting nominated even though my institution does not participate? GPA is 3.9 with several presentations made at national science conferences and one presentation award.
It turns out they’re really not all that important. Congratulations on selecting an institution that eschews shiny sparkly honors for (I assume) meaningful intellectual experiences. Continue to be your authentic self.
