Honor Society memberships at current school when you're going to transfer

So, I recently got invitations to join Golden Key and PKP, and turned into the applications along with the fees (total $140).

Problem is, I’m now going to transfer to UCLA. Is there anything I can do about the honor society memberships? Do memberships transfer with you? Can you change the chapter that you’re a part of once you change schools? If not, I’m not going to have a chance to join one until my senior year, yeah?

Anyone have any opinions?

If you are referring to PTK, yes the membership will remain with you, forever. Once inducted/payed your dues, you are a member of the honor society for life. It is really up to you, but most people use PTK as a transfer extracurricular activity. It will be stamped on your transcript that you are part of the honor society, though.
