Honors and Awards - Grouping Them?

If I have multiple awards from different events, can I group them?

I’m not sure if I made NMF, but I know I made NAF. If I did make both, could I group them in one award?
French Symposium Sophomore Year: Poetry Semifinalist
French Symposium Junior Year: Poetry, Prose, and Guided Speaking Semifinalist - Could I group these?
French 3rd Place Scrapbook (Group Event), 5th Place French Movie (Group Event) - Could I group these?
AP Scholar with Honor

If I can’t, which ones should I get rid of?

Oops, I meant semifinalist not finalist for NMS and NAS.

Bumping this.

I’m in a very similar situation, with French as well.
I won a silver medal at Texas French Symposium this year, in addition to getting 3 medals at our local French competition and a National French Exam medal. Listing them as three separate “awards/honors” only leaves room for 2 more slots - one of which will be National Merit Semifinalist. So I’m left with one more slot for awards, and I have a few things that I could put there.

While I don’t know the answer to your main question, I would say that - if you have to get rid of something- it would be AP Scholar. They will be able to see that you earned that award since you will be reporting your AP scores anyway.

^only group very similar awards together, and don’t add the AP scholar since you are self reporting your AP scores. Add NMSF if you feel that is greater than your other 5 possible awards, but remember if you have a pretty competitive SAT score, adcoms already expect that award.

So, could you tell me if the ones I grouped in my question are similar enough to be grouped on my application?

Group your symposium awards, perhaps the NAF and NMSF, not sure about the group event awards.

Oops. Those are French Symposium awards as well. I forgot to put that. Thanks.
