Honors Chem @ UCSB

So, I got an email from a Chem professor at UCSB, Leroy Laverman, who said that I was a candidate for the Honors Chem class there, and that I should apply for it. The thing is… I never took a formal class in Chemistry. I took a Biotech class at my school, where Chem was a prereq, so I self studied it a little so I wouldn’t fall behind (and I did well in that class). But I was wondering if anyone took this class, or is planning on doing so, and their experiences or advice. If I go into the class, I’m planning on going to CLAS and office hours A LOT, but I dunno if I have a natural knack for Chem or not. I was good in physics and math, so I’m assuming I can’t be too bad, I just don’t want to fall behind and get destroyed.
