My daughter was admitted to Western Carolina last fall, she has since decided on Lee Univeristy in Cleveland, TN but today received an acceptance letter for the honors college at Western. She never applied so is this normal? She is now wondering if she should choose the honors route. Any pros or cons? This is our first child going to college so we have no clue!
I’m not personally familiar with either school but I do know that what honors colleges offer to their students varies greatly from college to college. I would get more information from the school about what the honors program is like at Western Carolina so she can better compare that option to Lee University.
