<p>I was offered to apply to the honors program at UMich. The thing is, one of the essays perfectly fits with an essay topic that I chose to write about for the UMich application already. Can I re-use it? Or do they want a completely new essay?</p>

<p>write a new one- I originally submitted a similar essay to one I already sent them and was rejected. I called them and they explained that they assumed my similar essay meant I didn’t care enough to write a new one. I ended up writing a new essay and was accepted, but moral of the story = NEW ESSAY!</p>
