<p>Two questions to entering Honors Freshmen:</p>

<li><p>Did all of you receive emails about Honors Peer Mentor (sent to your UMich email)?</p></li>
<li><p>Did all of you read the honors summer book? I never even opened it.</p></li>

<p>Yes, I received an email from my Honors Peer Mentor.</p>
<p>I also read the Lawrence Weschler book. It’s a lot shorter than it looks, because half of it is Notes, and it’s a pretty quick read because there are a lot of pictures in it. 
I don’t think you’re going to get anything more than a ragging-on if you don’t read it.</p>

<li><p>Yeah, I received emails… from like 5 different mentors, so i have no idea which one is mine. Which is fine because I already have 3 other advisors haha.</p></li>
<li><p>Yes I just finished it. It was pretty interesting so I’m looking forward to the discussion.</p></li>

<li> The reason I ask is that I don’t think I signed up for it but still got emails. Did you guys sign up for it?</li>

<p>my god… that book…i dont understand it at all, the plot is going no where so far, im around page 20 where he describes the showcases or w/e inside the building…
and this author has to use such verbose vocabulary i dont know half the words on each page lol</p>
