<p>Absolutely. Your RAs and fellow dorm-mates are (for the most part) going to be incredibly friendly and inclusive. In my experience, the UHC housing community was one of the best on campus (although I also really enjoyed short forays over into the Engineering housing community).</p>

<p>Yes, UHC encourages an “open door policy” where you keep your main door open to allow other students to wander in and say hello. In my experience, I rarely locked my door ever because the community was so trustworthy. You’ll also spend a lot of time together during orientation which will help you make friends with your neighbors/floor mates/etc.</p>

<p>I lived in Forbes for UHC housing which was more isolated than Sutherland is (because you’re still surrounded by other dorms and other people). So no, there isn’t really a feeling of isolation.</p>
