<p>For students in the honors program, are you required to take the honors level courses when they are available, or is it just an option? Do you have to take any at all?</p>
<p>If you want to get the Honors Citation when you graduate, you need to complete 15 Honors credits. 9 must be from Honors Seminars, the other 6 can be seminars or H-Version courses. You also must take the 1-credit HONR100 as a freshman (and all freshman are strongly encouraged to take UNIV100 so it’s just like the Honors version of that.)</p>
<p>If you are in Gemstone, you automatically complete the citation by taking all of the Gemstone classes.</p>
