I had 1470 (CR + M) and 3.7UW and I wasn’t accepted into honors, but I did get the full Dean’s scholarship, which is strange because as will8587 mentioned, there are people that were accepted into honors that did not get the full $15,000. If we can appeal, I will definitely do that.</p>
<p>i had a 1460 and 4.0 unweighted, no honors.</p>
<p>I think apart from grades, they’re also trying to round it out demographically. Same as how they shape their incoming class, they want some band geeks, some jocks, some eagle scouts, etc etc.</p>
<p>but seriously now, what is the appeal of honors apart from better housing and co ops? What does being in honors mean?</p>
