<p>No you don’t. It is not binding at all. In fact, they would like applications before May 1st for the honors program (they dont have a technical due date but they do stop reviewing them at some point). They suggest that as soon as you get in you apply to the honors program if you are interested in the program. It is competitive, however, out of 6000 students on campus only 130 are in the honors program (sorry, I don’t know how many specifically apply to the program/get in and don’t go).</p>
