I was reading about Tulane’s Honors Program and it said students must be invited to join in their freshman year. Would taking SAT Subject test help my chances getting into the program. If I do get in, will that help me get into the Premedical creative program?
Could someone describe the defficulties of Tulane’s Honor program?

Thanks

Tulane2012 - You may not have read down quite far enough. You can get into the Honors program after freshman year by attaining a 3.6 your freshman year. I have heard of a few cases of students getting in after their first semester by getting all A’s and A-'s. But to answer the next part of your question, an SAT II won’t really help. Next, getting in absolutely will help you with the Creative Scholars program, because it means you are getting great grades. It isn’t the Honors Program itself but what being in it represents, superior academic achievement.

Being in the Honors Program at Tulane mostly represents that you are on track to graduate with Latin Honors (summa cum laude or magna cum laude). It does have a number of other advantages though, which you can see on their web site.
