Honors programs?

Does Princeton offer any Honor programs??

oing? ughhhh NO.

Princeton doesnt offer honor programs. In fact, if you can get into P, you are honored

But they have a strict honor code and they expect you to fully comply with it

they have honors classes though

ok thanks, I wasn’t sure becuase I heard of a honors science program at princeton, but I guess there isn’t one.

you’re probably thinking of the integrated science programs. there’s an engineering one (engineering, math, and physics) and another one which is physics, chem, bio, and computer science combined. They’re pretty crazy, but doable 2 year sequences.

I would say they’re honors like, but not officially.

They have a couple honors math classes, but really, any class at princeton IS an honors class…

In certain science classes, if you already have studied or researched in that area, you will be placed in a special, advanced section. “MOL 214A is an introductory molecular biology course for freshman and sophomores who intend to major in Molecular Biology, have two credits of Advanced Placement in Biology, and have had biology laboratory experience in a course or a job. Students in MOL 214A will attend MOL 214 lectures and also take MOL 214 examinations but will have a laboratory experience that is challenging, inquiry-based and will require student participation in some aspects of experimental design. This course counts as a requirement for entrance into medical school.”

thanks for the info
