Honors vs no honors for pre med

How important is it for an undergrad to be in honors program for medical school application?

You need to look at exactly what the honors program includes at the particular college(s) you are considering. In an of itself I don’t expect an honors program will make any meaningful difference BUT if the honors program gives a student increased access to research opportunities, early registration etc. there may be a benefit.

It doesn’t matter.

If the honors program gets the student special perks like early class registration or separate dorms, then it might be worthwhile. But all by itself, being part of the honors college has zero bearing on med school admissions.
