Hello everyone!
I am a high school senior going through the maze of attending college. After several applications, my top two top choices are Berry College and Mercer University. Even with limited financials, both schools gave me generous scholarship offers to where I can attend both schools with money not being an issue. However I was accepted in the Berry Honors program, and I was put on Mercer Honors program wait list due to an error in the application and the program filling up before I had a chance to re apply. I was told by my counselor I more than qualify to be in the program and if a space fills up, I’ll move in line. Long story short: I am on the wait list.
Now my question is: Should I attend Berry College with Honors status (even though Berry is not as well known or renowned as Mercer) or should I attend Mercer with a strong possibility of not being in Honors?
Basically, how much does being in Honors count?
