Honors?

Is it more likely to obtain an A in a honors course? Meaning, do professors tend to give out more As in honor courses?

The grade distribution in honors courses does tend to have more A’s. However, that could be because of the professor or of the higher quality students. Or just the higher level of interaction between the students and professors.

^ Agreed. I vote for smarter students or students willing to challenge themselves and put in the hard work required to suceed.

Honestly, looking for the easest professor or the class with the most A’s is not the best plan to adequately prepare yourself for scoring high on your MCATs.

The reason why I chose to apply myself for honor courses is because of the challenging atmosphere. I feel I will further prepare myself for the MCAT if I have to write Honor research papers that will dwell me in deeper thinking. I hope I’m making a good choice. I also love smaller class sizes.

I would agree. I have enjoyed the honors classes that I’ve taken thus far.
