I know what honors are, but I don’t understand how you distinguish the non-honor to honor courses. How do you know what courses are ‘honors’ from the coursebook?

And, in the Exeter coursebook, how do you know which ones are APs? The coursebook does not tell if a course is AP or not. Thanks :)

Do any of the descriptions for the classes say that it prepares you for the AP exam? If so, then it’s probably AP.

The difference between honors and not at Choate is that the non-honors will have a course number like 200 (for example, FR200) instead of FR250 for Honors.

redpride11— it is tricky at exeter because some courses that are not designated as AP do actually provide you with preparation for the AP exam. If you have questions, you can contact the registrar directly. They will help you!

There are no honor classes at Exeter. They should all be pretty challenging, if you are placed correctly.
400’s are AP, anything above 400 is AP, some 300’s are AP (ex: chem 319, music 310, english 300’s), some 200’s are AP (ex: european his)
